Growing Tree Preschool has adopted the following Health & Safety plan after consulting with healthcare providers, public officials, and other school leaders.
Here are the highlights of the plan:
► Students will learn in the building on a regular schedule. Students will only be doing distance learning as needed.
► Growing Tree Preschool students are expected to attend classes unless schools are closed by the state. Accommodations may be made for a limited amount of time in special circumstances. If you have questions concerning this policy, please email email@example.com.
► Parents are responsible to be aware of their child’s health. If your child is experiencing any symptoms of illness, he/she is required to stay at home.
► According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, COVID-19 affects different people in different ways. Infected people have had a wide range of symptoms reported – from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. If you suspect your child may have COVID-19, please have them see a medical professional. People with the following symptoms may have COVID-19:
- Fever or chills
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
